Kleida Mati is a Medical Oncologist based in Tirana, Albania, with extensive experience in clinical practice, research, and education. Her academic journey began at the Medical University of Warsaw, where she completed her medical degree, followed by specialization in Medical Oncology at the University of Medicine in Tirana. Presently, she is a Medical Oncologist at Salus Hospital in Tirana, Albania and actively contributes as a Scientific Social Media Officer at the European School of Oncology. In add ition to her clinical practice, Kleida Mati completed a clinical research fellowship at the Institute of Oncology of Southern Switzerland (IOSI) and obtained the ESMO examination certificate. Currently, she is advancing her research through a PhD program, focusing on the application of AI in predicting the response to neoadjuvant treatment in breast cancer patients. In addition to her clinical and research roles, Kleida Mati served as the president of the NGO Medical Institute of Albania for four years, ded icated to enhancing medical research and education in Albania. Her recent initiative, MedLink, is an online medical platform that she created with the goal of educating the general public on oncology – related topics. This initiative serves as a valuable res ource for both healthcare professionals and the broader community in Albania.
